From the EDINBURGH EVENING NEWS - 13 January 2004:-

STACKS OF ADVICE FOR PARENTS
Linda Russell believes Edinburgh is ready for workplace parent coaching. An Edinburgh businesswoman is hoping to grab a slice of the parent-coaching market. Since moving north of the Border a few months ago, Linda Russell has been busy dispensing advice to parents on issues such as temper tantrums, toilet training and choosing the right school or nursery. Now she hopes to extend the one-to-one, in-home service to the working place, catering for busy professionals who cannot spare time off. Several businesses in London already offer parenting courses to their staff as a perks, and Ms Russell - who has more than 20 years' experience of professional childcare - believes there is a ready market in the Capital for something similar.
She said the Parent Coaching Studio was targetting individuals who were finding "certain aspects of parenting challenging". Ms Russell added: "Professional people become parents, read all the manuals and think they know it all. "A lot of them return to work and the problems continue, causing a great deal of stress."
